After a decade of teaching fitness in gyms across the country, I felt like something wasn't quite right with the corporate jungle version of exercise. To get back to the efficient and effective workout basics I so craved, I designed the G MOVES boot camp as the alternative to aggressive, equipment-heavy workouts. I seek to build an empowering DC community around the core principles of strength, focus, and positive energy that characterize each bodyweight workout.
Physical fitness has been a safe haven for me - a way of life that gave me a sense of control, positivity, and fulfillment no matter what challenges emerged in my path. I want everyone to see and feel the benefits of a strong workout, no matter where they are in their fitness journeys. Hailing from sunny Southern California, I happily call DC home since 2012. When I'm not teaching fitness, I love to experiment in the kitchen, read inspiring books, and groove to Rick Ross.
